Tom-the-Atom is discovered living in a beautiful and large seashell on the beach at Half Moon Bay, south of San Francisco, CA. Henry and his sister Mary were walking with their father and with their dog, Bonita, on a nice warm day after school, one of those beautiful Indian Summer days in October. Henry and Mary brought the seashell they found to Henry’s room; where Tom-the-Atom, exiting the seashell, becomes an instant friend of Henry and Mary. Tom-the-Atom entices Henry and Mary to visit his world once a day after school, and he proposed to introduce them to his siblings and extended relatives who belong to the ten different families of Atoms (including his own family) as described in the “Periodic Table.” Tom-the-Atom introduces to Mary and Henry, his brothers, sisters, and cousins. Henry and Mary will learn a great deal from Tom-the-Atom. They will find out how everything alive and not-alive (organic and inorganic) in our Universe is made of tiny atoms, which, by shaking hands, form bonds among themselves to form molecules, compounds, and all small and large things. Book 1 only introduces to the reader Tom the Atom. In subsequent books, the readers will learn about the exciting world of atoms. By Book 22 you will be already an “expert” in chemistry! We advise the reader that they should read the books in numerical order.
